During a conversation I was having it was thought to be interesting to know how many Marines received Valor only Medals. Actually I was not terribly surprised by the findings and believe they make perfect sense.

Without overly extensive research it seems difficult at best to determine how many of these dual medals were given for Valor or non-Valor so the decision was made to not include them in the stats.
