THE DAY THEY FOUND ME

The day they found me,
Something changed in me forever.
Until that day I was surviving,
But that day inside me died.

 It was 28 years later,
But it seemed liked yesterday.
The past came rushing forward,
And I was living that time again.

 I was transported,
The dead walked, the ghost talked,
Both in my dreams,
and in my hallways.

 The day they found me,
I was glad.
If I'd known it's effect, on me,
I would have been mad.

Prior to them calling me,
I was looking at the future,
Yet, since they found me,
I've been living in the past.

The day they found me,
Was the start of my ills,
I stopped living on my resources,
and started living on my pills.
