"I recall something I read about warmongers prior to going to Saudi Arabia in 1990. A warmonger is a person who is invincible in peace and invisible in war. A warmonger is a man who is always ready to lay down your life for his country. Those whose names were inscribed on the wall laid down their lives for me and my former country. They were not warmongers. I sincerely hope I have honored their sacrifice with my own service. The dead did not point the finger at anyone. The dead are blameless. They must be remembered and honored." Q.X. Pham On April 24, 1975, Q.X. Pham was evacuated from Saigon at the age of 10. He grew up in Oxnard, CA, and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree.
